Number 3 AJAX Maccabi batsman, master blaster, pin up boy, 2nd in the batting average last year by 0.4 of a run (unlucky), also named in the team of the decade outlines, “I recently joined Launchtwo after a distinguished career at Deloitte. The opportunity to work in an energetic and vibrant organisation as well as the prospect of teaching Jono how to bat properly was just too good an offer to refuse.”
Jonty’s dual role with both Launchtwo & Candidates Alive has not interfered with his life long ambition of becoming the premier batsman in the VTCA. The sky is the limit for this prodigious talent both on and off the cricket field.
Josh Onas, National Sales Manager, Candidates Alive:
Brother of club legend and 1st XI captain Daniel Onas, Josh has been a driving force of new venture Candidates Alive. Although not a current member of the Maccabi Ajax cricket team, Josh definitely left his footprint on the club winning the under 12’s Grand Final off his own bat in the summer of 91’, and he followed this up a few years later with a blistering 96 off 42 balls at the tender age of 15, and of course who could forget his figures of 4 for 9 off 5 overs one overcast day at Menzies Reserve. These days he lets his older brother Daniel, 2 time Ray Saffer Award winner and 3 time Leonard Burman First X1 Club Champion do the talking for him.
Launchtwo People are a specialist Recruitment Agency across a range of Accounting & Finance, IT and Administration roles, working closely with a range of high calibre clients across Melbourne, while recently entering the Sydney market.
