THE SILVER ARC Past Players Day 2009/10
The Maccabi AJAX Cricket Club's Past Players Association (PPA) is pleased to announce the teams for the matches scheduled to take place this Sunday at the Silver ARC Past Players & Family Day.The teams can be found below.
The PPA day will be held on Sunday 7 February 2010 @ the Gary Smorgon Oval 9, Aughtie Drive Albert Park, and this year the day will feature four different Twenty-20 matches, a free catered lunch, the drawing of our $1000 Reverse Raffle winner, a MILO IN2Cricket activity for kids, as well as other family attractions.
Once again the club is thankful to both Nando’s as well as the kosher alternative Zavdiel’s Felafels for providing us with such fantastic food for all to enjoy. We hope you and your families will be able to join us for free lunch and be part of the day.
Special gift packs will be provide for all ladies that attend the PPA Day in order to encourage more female involvement in the our club and our sport, and we will also be selling the last remaining raffle tickets for our annual $1000 Reverse Raffle fundraiser. The draw itself will be held later in the afternoon.
MILO In2Cricket Activity Details
This season has also seen the introduction of the Maccabi AJAX cricket Club’s In2cricket program. The program is for all kids, aged from prep to Grade 2, and during the PPA Day the club will be running an open clinic during the lunch break (approximately 12.30pm – 1.30pm), followed by free lunch for all the kids and families.If you have kids (boys and girls aged 6 – 9), they are welcome to join in the Milo cricket activity, and each child will get a gift on the day.
